by Lies Goemans
If you watch the sky you will sometimes see cloud formations in colors that seem surreal. It feels as if you are landed in some dramatic movie scene or a painting in the golden age. Bombastic warm golden and rusty colors tumbling down on a pretty calm waiting landscape. It is like the storm of input we sometimes can feel around us while we ourselves try to keep quiet inside. Maybe contrasts are there to keep us focused on the things we really like.
In The Clouds.
A series that is meant to encourage us to keep on dreaming and have thoughts that lift us up.
Outside the box into the sky. The elongated shape of the wooden panel emphasizes the height of flight our thoughts are allowed to take.
Clouds are building shapes, release to nothing and transform again. Grey days, sunny days, sunsets and sunrises. We travel the world and catch a cloud.
This painting is equipped with a suspension system and is ready to hang or stand. It is signed on the back and painted on the side, so there is no additional frame needed.
