‘Heaven Scent’ is inspired on a big yet delicate perfumed yellowish pink rose. It made it's way through the dark and strong ivy on an abandoned industrial terrain which at that time was where my atelier was located. This rose made my day and therefore needed a tribute.
‘Heaven Scent’ is part of Dark Nature Up Close, a series on nature, which like life itself, is always changing, layered and imperceivable.
The darkness of it just as interesting as the light. It’s the contrast that makes you notice the difference and allows you to feel more appreciation for the blessings. Zooming in you discover all these little gifts of beauty which you could not see at first glance.The series Dark nature up close is about these gems hidden in dark bushes on rainy days. Both literally and metaphorically
