‘Field Of Colors -Giant Golden Standing Tall'  is the second one in a new series named Color Fields. 

This painting is about self-esteem and the need to believe in yourself. The bright yellow of the goldenrod is hopeful and strength-giving.
Fields full of moving colors, layered, melting, dancing with each other, two colors make more, meeting edge to edge or making transparent new ones emerge, some pull themselves free but they all ask you to join their party.

Ever since we discovered it's good to keep our verges wild and our grasses tall. Since we have realized that our bees, butterflies and us  humans are living up and enjoying them. Since all those wild flowers are singing out loud with their ever-changing colors. I could not resist to listen and answer their call with paint.  

‘Field Of Colors' was painted en plein air and was part of The Color Field Performance 2021 in Elst.
